D2P® software is intended for use as a software interface and image segmentation system for the transfer of imaging information from a medical scanner such as a CT scanner to an output file. It is also intended for pre-operative surgical planning.

The 3D-printed models generated from the D2P output file are validated for diagnostic use when printed in conjunction with the materials and printers included in the table below and following the instructions included in the user manual.

Please refer to the D2P user manual for additional instructions on good printer operation and post-processing instructions.

Other printers may be used with D2P. However, the physical outputs from these printers have not been validated by 3D Systems, so are not cleared to be used as diagnostic-quality models.
