Prosperos
One step closer to the bone implant of the future
3D Systems takes part in the European Union funded research project in "smart" 3D printed implants for repair of large bone defects
Printing Personalized Orthopedic Implants
The research focuses on the development of biologically active implants that can be tailor-made to fit the needs of the individual patient. Upon successful implementation, the implants offer faster patient recovery and a reduction in revision surgeries.
