Implementing Actions to Reduce Waste and Water

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact of our internal operations by consistently following waste management and recycling practices at each facility and being mindful of our use and impact on natural resources.

Biodiversity

We recognize the growing urgency of biodiversity loss and are actively working to evaluate our role in addressing nature-related risks and opportunities. We have conducted an initial biodiversity assessment leveraging tools developed by the World-Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). These tools provide valuable insights into the potential impacts and dependencies of our operations at key manufacturing facilities and our corporate office on local wildlife, ecosystems, and habitats.

The assessment evaluates critical environmental variables, including protected and conserved areas, regions of global biodiversity importance, ecologically significant environments such as wetlands and forests, and the overall health and functionality of ecosystems. This assessment is a first step in better understanding our interface with nature and the actions we can take to manage our impacts and dependencies on biodiversity.

As methodologies in the biodiversity landscape evolve and become standardized, we will continue to refine our assessment. We are actively working with our teams to refine action plans to address our impact on biodiversity and nature, where deemed appropriate, considering the size and scope of our facilities.
