VIDAR supports the following operating systems:

Windows 8 32 & 64 Bit
Windows 10 32 & 64 Bit

You must also verify with your application vendor that your application software is supported on the operating system that you are using.

Device Drivers for Windows 8 or 10 - 32 and 64 Bit

VIDAR only supports USB 2.0 standard on all drivers and USB capable digitizers.
VIDAR supports the following Windows operating systems with the VIDAR Driver 6.1
- Windows 8 Professional with latest Service
- Windows 10 Professional with latest Service

Two options:

Run (open)
- From the VIDAR website (www.3dsystems.com/vidar), VIDAR Driver 6.1, run the .exe file or save the .exe file to your desktop or thumb drive (USB stick).
- If running the driver program from the website the installation shield will start automatically.
Save
- If saved to your desktop, double click on the .exe file to begin the install shield program. If you first saved the file to a thumb drive, copy the .exe file to the host PC’s desktop and then double click on the .exe to begin the installation shield program.
